Captain America is Sighted and Fall is Here!

Hi folks!
Yes, it's true. We saw Captain American this weekend when we went apple picking! We had great fall weather this week and we had two great walks in the woods. We have apple picking and pumpkin picking going on this week! Here's a few pictures of our experiences. See if you can find Captain America!

Dairy Express

I think he is texting!
Here he tries to escape! His cow has no head!

Dad picking his favorite---Granny Smith

We met a new apple variety--Nittany

Ciaran say's he looks good in orange.

I say, where are the squirrels?

Cookie?

More of those beautiful orange 'shrooms!

Pumpkin time!

That's all for now! We have an agility trial this weekend and mom has done nothing else except grade papers!

Our Annual Trek...and long week

Greetings People!!!

I am resting and chillaxing from my annual trek to Terrier Land! Mom and I loaded up our friend (Aunt Stephanie)'s van and travelled to Kimberton, PA to the Montgomery Terrier Cluster for our 4th year. This year we also took Hasten for her first foray into 3 days of all terrier competition.

I am proud to announce that I earned my Excellent A title in FAST class but that is where I finished. I am not quite sure why, but although I usually really enjoy going to this trial, I decided to run at least 2 seconds over in most of my runs. Because of my fabulous performance, Mom was able to earn Double No Q prizes! See, she still wins something! Those Westie people are really nice!

Hasten, on the other paw, had some success...she hasn't learned to be the Reluctant Dog yet! She earned her Novice FAST title (NF) and her Excellent A Standard title (AX). She also Q'd in Time 2 Beat, a class that I have never entered--but it does look interesting.  Overall, she did really well...silly dog. She also got a bag of treats and a mug with a fox on it from the Parson Russell Terrier group.

Lots of Ribbons!

In addition, for the first time in 5 years, Mom didn't make me run at our local trial in Weyers Cave, VA. So, after 3 days in Pennsylvania, Hasten also competed with mom for two more days and I stayed home and chased squirrels.

Speaking of squirrels--two weeks ago, I finally, after many years and thousands of attempts, caught and quieted my first grown adult squirrel!!! I was SO proud!! This is no easy feat as our yard is covered with trees!!! My brother Ciaran--wanted to take my squirrel but I guarded it until Mom came out and...I don't know if you can believe this... but she took it away!!! I was almost outraged, but I allowed her to take it away. I don't know where it went...I am hoping it shows up in my stocking as a stuffed squirrel for Christmas!

Anyway, folks, that is all I have to report for now. Will add more later with video of my brother and sister.

Peace Out!
